I’m always trying to explain for people what trail running is. This photo shows quite well what trail running can be. The archipelago of Bohuslän, southwest Sweden, is one of my favourite places for trail running, with smooth rocks polished by ice. In summertime you can even combine trail running with swimming. It’s all about letting your mind free: jump into the water and swim to the next island where you continue running.

One of the harder races on the swedish calendar is Ö-till-Ö, a 64 K run, bike & swim race for teams of 2. Race date: September 6. Location: Stockholm Archipelago.

Your’s is a very inspirational blog. I’ve added it to my blogroll. I’m new to the sport, 3 years, and am only concentrating on really short distance competitions, 10k runs in the SF Bay Area. Keep writing your words!
