Yesterday I met my old army buddies, which I haven’t seen for 20 years. It was fun. They all remembered me as the “runner”, since I was the best runner in the plutoon. But it actually took another 10 years before I started running on a regular basis. NOW I call myself “a runner”, which has nothing to do with speed. For me it’s all about what I do with running. How I make running interesting. And FUN. Yesterday I tried to explain that running can be much more than most people imagine. In creative trail running there is an element of adventure, you only need to use your imagination and curiousity. It’s just a matter of spicing it up and having fun. And you even get fit doing it.
