It was 5 minutes before 6pm and I craved kale, this wonderful strong green plant. I just made it to Fram, the organic grocery store around the corner, before closing time with my new Asics Trail Attack shoes. Only to return with 6 kilos of organic vegetables, fruits and nuts.
First I gave the kale a good massage with olive oil, fresh lemon juice and sea salt, to soften the fibres. (Thanks for the advise Erica!) Meanwhile I steam cooked the broccoli, carrot, brussel sprouts, garlic, leek. Then I mixed it together in a big bowl with thin slices of beet, cauliflower, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, spirulina vera.
Fresh and tasty, but you need to chew well!
